The position will report to Global Procurement & Logistics Manager.
We are now strengthening our team and looking for a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Category Manager.
As a
Procurement Category Manager, you will perform procurement activities from A to Z.
Main Tasks:
- Ensure a robust approach to supplier management, establishing value creation targets and reporting on of supplier performance, manage supplier risks and conduct regular business reviews
- Design and implementation of a business-aligned sourcing and procurement strategy to achieve a scalable and competitive supply chain
- Be responsible for negotiation strategies and execution to support our objectives
- Maintain strong insight in key supplier markets and market drivers and monitor trends and developments
- Facilitate the development of industry leading contracts and contract management
- Early involvement in the design process to support the selection of the right technologies and suppliers of Zenitel
- Proactively driving/supporting demand/supply process and stock management for assigned category
- Full responsibility for purchasing of materials and services for assigned category
- Ensure full control on supplier and material master data
- Actively contribute to promoting sustainability in the value chain
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Relevant business or engineering degree
- Preferable 5 years of experience with procurement (preferably within the EMS industry)
- Highly proficient with MS Office applications, ERP systems, Power BI, or other data visualization and analysis tools
- Excellent analytical skills
- Extensive knowledge and experience with contract drafting and negotiations
- Experience from a category management environment is an advantage
- Good technical understanding
- Solution oriented mindset and ability to challenge established way of working
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
